First Credit Union New Account

Our purpose is to serve and satisfy the financial needs of our members. The credit union is a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative financial institution. This means that all income not used to operate the credit union and provide reserves is returned to members in the form of lower interest rates on loans, higher dividends on savings, and increased/improved delivery of services to members.

How to Join

You may fill out a membership application agreement form provided here online or at your local branch. Once you completed your application you can bring or mail it to the nearest First Credit Union office, with your application:

•	Choose what type of account fits your financial needs, see First Credit Union accounts or investment accounts.
•	Include a minimum deposit of $5. Please bring a copy of your driver's license and a secondary form of identification.
•	You may also open your account by arranging for a payroll deduction, net pay deposit, or a direct deposit through your payroll department.

Did You Know

•	You may be eligible to take advantage of First Credit Union's low-cost, convenient financial services and not even realize it! Because of our wide field of membership, there are many ways individuals may qualify for membership. Am I Eligible?.
•	Your company may be a member. You may browse through First Credit Union Business List. This list includes “Select Groups” that offer membership for First Credit Union.
•	Once you become a member, you remain a member for life, as long as you maintain at least a $5 balance in your share savings account.
•	Since you are a member, your relatives, co-workers, and friends are also eligible to join First Credit Union.
•	You can also print valuable coupons as a new member to be used within 90 days of membership.

Add a New Account

If you currently have a First Credit Union account and would like to add an additional account please complete the following:

•	Choose what type of account fits your financial needs, see First Credit Union accounts or investment accounts.
•	Complete a First Credit Union "New Account Request" application. Once you completed your application you can bring or mail it to the nearest First Credit Union office.
•	Include a minimum deposit of $5. Please bring a copy of your driver's license and a secondary form of identification.
